Our Story

We were high school sweethearts and went to prom together. Twenty-two years later we reconnected and now we are excited to invite you to go back to where we went to prom together for our wedding. We are keeping it classic prom style by graciously asking our guests to wear black tie attire (optional but highly encouraged). Gentlemen, please put on your tux and ladies please dress in your gowns to enjoy a little timeless elegance, romance and dancing.

There is not one day that does not feel like a gift to have Jon with us. Jon fought to heal and recover after enduring a tragic injury. His strength is an inspiration to us all. His love and gratitude for life is a reminder to us all to appreciate our time while we are here.

They broke up the summer after Jon graduated high school, however, he always remained dear to her heart. She visited him in the hospital and brought him his favorite candy, then visited him at his dads house while he was recovering. She still vividly remembers that day and thinking to herself that she wanted to stay to comfort him. But they were not in that place in their lives. His journey was one of self reliance and determination.

Their lives took very different paths and they lived in different cities for years at a time. The last time Nacole saw Jon was at a water park for a mutual friends birthday when she was twenty-six years old. She was scared to go down a water slide and Jon noticed. He offered to take her to the wave pool and she shared with him that she was contemplating applying to jobs in Los Angeles, however, she shared her hesitation to leave home as she loved her hometown of Cardiff, her family and friends. Jon encouraged her and reassured her that Encinitas would always be there. They did not see one another for another fourteen years. By fate, they ran into one another at a friends mutual birthday party once again. However, this time it brought them back together and they did not say goodbye. This time they fell in love all over again. They each needed to go on their own unique path and journey leading to growth as well as deep life lessons separately but once they saw one another again they knew what they had together. They knew how rare it is and that they wanted to be spend their life together.

It is a miracle to have Jon with us and a miracle they had the opportunity to be together again. Nacole thanks God everyday to have the chance to be held by Jon again, to be loved by him and to share their life together.

We cannot wait to celebrate with you and we are honored to share this special moment in our lives with the people we love.
